My photography journey started at fourteen, when my father turned the camera duties over to me on a European family vacation. The excitement and wonders of Europe, and the fascination of the camera itself, left me extremely interested in this new found love.

While attending high school, I purchased my first 35 mm SLR, and eventually established a darkroom in our home.

Several years after graduating from St. Mary’s University with a Biology Degree, I returned to school to take college level photography courses. It is at this time that I fell in love with portraiture. I was fortunate enough to spend time around a few professional photographers, which often led to them critiquing my work. In addition, I served as an apprentice to a professional photographer, which proved to be extremely helpful.

Photographs help to tell the story of your life. Our lives should be documented, and documented from time to time with great photography. Photographs help all of us to remember such great and important moments. I hope you will allow me to capture a moment in your life.
